The fabric is a silk duchess satin in scarlet. It is underlined in silk
organza and lined in matching scarlet silk charmeuse.The front is fitted
and straight; the back features two dozen buttons custom-covered in scarlet
satin, and a scalloped-hem inset creating a mermaid silhouette. The inset
is embellished with three charmeuse roses, matching the headpiece.
